The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL or the Department) is removing the requirement that States use State merit staff to provide Wagner-Peyser Employment Service (ES) services. This final rule allows States to use the staffing model that provides the required services with the most efficient and cost-effective model for their State.

The Department of Labor's (DOL) Employment and Training Administration (ETA) is soliciting comments concerning a proposed new information collection request (ICR) titled, "Registered Apprenticeship National Public Awareness Campaign." This comment request is part of continuing Departmental efforts to reduce paperwork and respondent burden in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA).
